My experience so far has been great. The interactions with corporate team members and my executive mentor have been truly rewarding. I also have enjoyed the Center teamwork and learning from the manager how to successfully run a FedEx Kinko's Office and Print Center. Additionally, I hope to develop a greater understanding of good customer service, team interaction and effective management skills.
After completing the training program, I plan on using the skills I have learned to better serve FedEx Kinko's as a Center manager and possibly in the corporate office. I also intend to attend graduate school in a few years.
To those interested in joining the program, be prepared to learn a great deal about yourself and the importance of balance in your life. When I first started, my main goal was to become a manager as quickly as possible. Even though I'm still moving toward that goal, I have discovered a great deal about being a better person and manager. I believe it is essential to work for a company like FedEx Kinko's that supports a balance between career and personal growth.
