The Dallas training period has been amazing. The support we receive from our team members, each other and executive management has made it a truly positive experience. Everyone I encounter is encouraging and open to answering questions. Additionally, I have learned a great deal about successfully managing a Center through our situational leadership class and my current Center manager. I also hope to gain a greater comfort level for FedEx Kinko's technology.
I plan on working here for many years — first as Center manager and eventually finding a role with both domestic and international travel. In about 10 years, I also plan to attend law school. To future applicants and participants, keep two things in mind: You must work to be successful, and everyone in this program will work hard and learn daily. Also, leading people is a successful tool for management. In addition to effective people skills, you must learn the services, machines and everything that affects the company's bottom line.
