What is the FedEx Kinko's Office and Print Center dress code?
Male Center employees are asked to wear a FedEx Kinko's oxford shirt, polo shirt or collared shirt and tie. Female branch employees are asked to wear a FedEx Kinko's collared shirt or blouse with pants, skirt or dress. Aprons and nametags are required and are provided for all Center team members. Team members can purchase their clothing directly through FedEx Kinko's at discounted rates.

Does FedEx Kinko's offer a college internship program?
Currently, FedEx Kinko's does not have a formalized college internship program. However, please check with your local FedEx Kinko's Office and Print Center to obtain more information about paid part-time positions. FedEx Kinko's offers several positions that provide additional training and preparation for the LDP-C. To find your nearest Center, please use our store locator.
If asked to travel for an interview, will I be reimbursed for expenses incurred?
Yes. FedEx Kinko's will pay for associated interview expenses such as hotel, airfare, mileage and meals.

How many graduates are accepted into the LDP-C?
FedEx Kinko's plans to hire approximately 60 graduates in 2004.
What are the eligible majors and minimum requirements for the LDP-C?
FedEx Kinko's considers all majors for the LDP-C. Please review the complete job description for details.
Relocation
Do I have to relocate?
Our goal is to place you in your home market. However, willingness and flexibility to relocate is a requirement for this program.
Can I specify locations of geographical preference?
Yes. All LDP-C applicants are asked to submit their top three areas of geographical preference within the U.S. when submitting their resume. FedEx Kinko's goal is to place you in your home market.
What type of relocation assistance does FedEx Kinko's provide for this program?
FedEx Kinko's will provide a pre-set relocation compensation amount.
Training
What kind of training does FedEx Kinko's offer new graduates?
Training begins with eight weeks of basic training in a local market FedEx Kinko's Office and Print Center and eight weeks of training at our corporate office in Dallas, TX. Training concludes with six months work experience as an assistant manager in a Center. The program's phased approach includes training in Center operations, Center management responsibilities, formal coaching and mentoring, financial acumen, leadership training and more.
What subject content will be covered while I'm in training? Who will facilitate the learning?
The training is delivered through a variety of means, including instructor-led programs, hands-on experience and Web-based courses. The hands-on training allows participants to exercise their skills by actually performing the tasks-from equipment use to leadership components. Instructors include members of the FedEx Kinko's management team, consultants, executive mentors and trainers-as well as field managers and team members.
How will I be evaluated during my training? What if I don't meet the company's expectations?
A formal evaluation process will be conducted during the program. Performance is measured throughout the program and includes areas such as test scores, branch performance and adherence to program guidelines. Inability to meet minimum requirements is handled on a case-by-case basis.

What will FedEx Kinko's pay for and provide while I am in Dallas?
FedEx Kinko's provides a fully furnished apartment close to our corporate office. The apartment includes linens, a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave oven and a coffee maker. FedEx Kinko's does not provide transportation or food.
What other amenities does the apartment complex offer?
High-speed Internet, free local calls, cable TV, daily hot breakfast buffet, evening hospitality Monday through Thursday, daily housekeeping service and a grocery shopping service, if needed. The complex also offers a swimming pool, heated spa and a sports complex.
Will I need transportation and is public transportation available?
Transportation is a necessity during the eight-week session of the Dallas program. Public transportation is available at the participant's expense; however, it likely will not provide sufficient access to and from your designated branch training.
Will I be living with someone during my eight-week assignment in Dallas? If I choose to, can I live by myself?
Yes and yes. Every LDP-C team member is assigned a roommate from among the other LDP-C participants. If you choose to live alone, you are responsible for the additional cost of your apartment (approximately $800 per month).
During the eight-week Dallas training, if I live within commuting distance to the trainings, can I choose to not live at the apartment complex? If I commute, will I be given any allowance for not charging FedEx Kinko's rent?
Living in the apartment is not a requirement and you may choose to commute. You will not receive additional money if you choose to commute.
If I choose to live in an apartment, can I live at a different community and have FedEx Kinko's reimburse a portion of my rent?
FedEx Kinko's offers the benefits of paid corporate housing only.
Can I have overnight guests while I'm in Dallas?
Both roommates must agree to overnight guests and the apartment complex of guidelines regarding overnight guests must be followed. Should any issues arise, the team members, apartment management and FedEx Kinko's will work together to rectify the situation.
What are the hours during my initial training? Will we work weekends during training?
While in the classroom, LDP-C participants will work regular business hours. When working in a Center, the team member will be assigned to either the first or second shift and may have some weekend hours.
How many hours will I work each week?
As with any other exempt management position, the team member is expected to dedicate the time and effort necessary to accomplish the workload.
Can I take vacation during my first 90 days?
Team member vacation benefits accrue during the 90-day introductory period; however, team members may not begin using vacation benefits until they have successfully completed this period.
Can I take holidays off during my first 90 days?
Team members will be given paid companywide holidays off during their first 90 days.

How can I be promoted?
FedEx Kinko's recognizes high performers and individual performance. It is our policy to reward team members who perform well.
Who will I report to?
During your first eight weeks, you will report to your assigned local District Manager. In Dallas, LDP-C participants report to the Program Training Manager.
If I join the program and learn of an opening in another area in which I am interested, can I apply?
Team members must successfully complete the LDP-C to be eligible for consideration for other opportunities.
Does FedEx Kinko's sponsor work visas for program participants?
FedEx Kinko's does not sponsor work visas for the LDP-C program.
